Mode of Selection for DSSSB Recruitment 2023 (02/23)
The selection process for the DSSSB Recruitment 2023 is inducted through a One Tier examination scheme. The details of the selection process are as follows:
Examination Scheme:
The selection will be based on a One Tier examination, which will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format.
Question Evaluation
In case any question(s) appearing in the exam is found to be invalid, those questions will not be evaluated, and the marks scored by the candidates will be calculated on a prorated basis (out of the maximum marks).
Normalization of Scores
DSSSB Recruitment 2023 marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Test/Exam will be normalized, if required, using the formula published by DSSSB vide Notice No. 10 (271)/Sec.Cell/DSSSB/18/989 dated 11.07.2018 (Annexure-II). Normalized scores will be used to determine the final merit and provisional nomination/selection.

- Draft Answer Keys of the Computer Based Test/Exam will be displayed on the DSSSB Recruitment 2023 website after the examination.

- DSSSB reserves the right to prescribe a minimum cut-off mark for any post based on the availability of candidates.

Reserved Vacancies:
- SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD candidates who are selected on their own merit without relaxed standards will not be adjusted against the reserved vacancies.
- They will be accommodated against the general/unreserved vacancies based on their position in the overall merit.
- The reserved vacancies will be filled separately from eligible SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Ex-SM, and PwBD candidates.
Appointment against Unreserved Vacancies:
A person with a disability who is selected on his/her own merit can be appointed against an unreserved vacancy if the post is identified as suitable for Persons with disabilities of the relevant category.

For the One Tier (Technical/Teaching) exams with postcodes 32/23, 34/23 to 50/23, 52/23 to 57/23, 60/23, and 71/23, the exam consists of two sections.
Section-A:
- It includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of one mark each as per the existing examination scheme.
